Richard asks…

Do I have to remove my shoes and socks for yoga or dancing classes?

Im a guy who wants to take those classes in college but one of my toe nails has fungus or something. this happened a few years ago when my toenail got hit and its been like that. im trying to get rid of the fungus and get my toenail back the way it was.

So if you’ve taken any of these classes do I have to remove my socks and shoes? i’ll do my best to get my toenail healthy again but I doubt i can do this before classes begin in september.

I want to start Yoga classes?

I’m 17 and I want to know if it’s ok for me to start Yoga at this age. I mean, is there an age limit or something, is it more effective on an elder body? I’m asking this because I have no idea! Thank you
Kent E : I’m not trying to lose weight lol I just want to tone my body =)

Critique answers:

Yoga is great at any age. It is much more physically demanding than it appears. You need core strength (abdominal and back muscles), excellent balance and flexibility.

When practicing yoga you use your own body as a resistant rather than a weight. It will help prevent muscular and bone problems later in life.

However, yoga is not a cardio-exercise so you still to do something like running, dancing or bike riding.
