In a nutshell, a lunge primarily targets the legs and a squat primarily targets the butt &ndash; and when you combine these two great moves you get a really great shape. <p> Lunges are an outstanding lower body workout, and it does help to tone your gluts but primarily it will make your legs look outstanding. To do a lunge step forward with your leg and lower your upper body by bending your knees and lowering the back knee until you feel fatigue.
